Review by hotel critic
My recent Easter stay at Khan Lankaran Hotel was simply delightful! The room was spacious and quiet, providing a peaceful oasis to relax in after a day of exploring the charming town of Lankaran. The traditional Azerbaijani decor throughout the hotel truly captured the essence of the region, making me feel like I was immersed in a living museum. The friendly staff, especially Farid at Reception, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. His recommendations for local excursions and assistance with transportation made navigating Lankaran a breeze. The restaurant at the hotel offered a lovely blend of Azerbaijani and European cuisine, each meal a flavorful delight. The convenient location of the hotel, just a stone's throw away from the bus station to Baku and a short drive from the Caspian Sea coast, made it a perfect base for our adventures. The combination of modern amenities with traditional touches, like the handmade furniture and sheepskins, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere.Elyar, one of the staff members, stood out with his excellent English language skills, providing helpful tips and ensuring all our needs were met. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of Azerbaijan.
